Serious Question: Do Zombie's Poop?

I mean they eat people, but since they are dead and all, their metabolism is like 0, do they even need to poop?

I think usually zombies don't poop.

They don't really even eat - they just kind of go through the motions and swallow and some of it gets in there, but it's all just rotting and falling apart and so on. I think I read one writer say they fill up their gut but keep eating and just eventually burst or something ... ugh.

I think a lot of series operate on the assumption that it's some kind of basic brain function of being like an animal predator but doesn't serve any actual nourishing/excrement producing function.

Yeah according to the Zombie Survival Guide you are correct. They chew and swallow, and then the flesh sits in their stomach until it bursts.
