I heard that TLC fans came up with $600 grand for TLC to record thier last album. I don't think the mike and adam are close to being broke but if push came to shove, do u think us fans could influence them to record again ? I also think there are 10 times more Beastie fans than TLC fans.

I do not think Beastie Boys are particularly motivated by money (although fans' money in a Kickstarter project may inspire them if they could give it away to a charity). It seems more likely to me that they would do something creative for the following reasons: (a) they were highly inspired to do so; (b) it was for a good cause; or (c) simply to break up the day to avoid boredom. I think the latter is unlikely because they appear to have their hands full with lots of exciting or challenging tasks / projects / responsibilities. I imagine the two of them will work with each other again on some formal album of some sort, some day. Perhaps it will only be a production / cameo project like the one with Yoko One recently. She is considering a crew now, maybe Mike and Adam will make the team after Yoko holds try outs?

You're right. Ben uploaded an interview with them talking about their upcoming memoir. It was originally scheduled to come out Fall 2015.
