I've been tracking down Prunes remixes. I think I'm missing one.
Beastiemania says the Prunes have done their share of remixes for the band including the Root Down "Free Zone Remix", Sure Shot "European B-Boy Remix", Negotiation Limerick File Remix, Putting Shame in Your Game Remix, and a Pass the Mic Remix.
I can't find the Negotiation Limerick File Prunes remix anywhere. Does it exist or did Beastiemania make a mistake?

We heard you did a remix of the Negotiation Limerick File. Was this pressed onto any records or CDs? Was the remix sent to the band? Does it have an official title?
Yes we did a remix of that song, but it was never used. I don't know why though. I guess the official title was The Prunes remix after we learned to stick with that.

I think he's saying they used to call their remixes all types of different names but later decided to stick with "Prunes Remix".

Usually when we did remixes for the Beastie Boys we gave them 2 or 3 different ones to choose from.
interesting.

I want to say the following is discussed on the Hello Nasty commentary. Bboys point out that they came "this" close to letting The Prunes produce thier next record and the three of them would just focus on the raps. but then they made Hello Nasty.
I really wish they had done that prunes produced album. Not intead of HN, but in addition to it. I'm sure it would have ruled.

that would've been some shit. i always thought that different producers added a lot of great texture to beastie boys shit. always wanted them to do music with different producers.
