Prof D's Magnificent Collection

It has been a year since Prof D died. Like a lot of people, we don’t recognize many of the great things they have accomplished until they have passed. I always knew that Prof D had a massive Beastie Boys collection, but I had no idea of the magnitude of what he had done until after he passed. On the anniversary of his passing, I want to share with the BBMB community what an amazing collection he passed on. I think it is impossible to convey how incredible the collection was without looking through it oneself but for all of you collecting nerds, read on.

Regrettably, I haven’t been able to catalog all of the items that he had collected (there are around 100 – 150 releases uncategorized). The releases that are left to sort through from his collection are remixes done by one of the Beasties, Compilations, guest appearances, grand royal releases, and the like. Nonetheless, here is the breakdown. Rest in Peace Prof D.
