New Q magazine cover

B-boys are on the cover of the new Q magazine (UK) with an interview with Adam and Mike. It's out Tuesday - I was hoping it might have surfaced this weekend but I haven't seen it anywhere. Just a heads up!

I don't think they ever graced the cover of Q in their prime, strangely.

Finally got it!

I don't have time for a full on scan so they're just photos but you can zoom in etc. It seems you can no longer post pictures here...come to think of it, I haven't seen any in years so I guess it's been that way for a while.

Anyway, it has uploaded in reverse order so start with the last photo (fromnt cover) then work your way back. Sorry if you have to be a flikr member to view, I'm new to it myself (obviously)...

Cosignin'. That record did suffer a bit of "White Album-itis". Some fat trimming could have made for something quite bullet-proof, imo.

As super fans, I reckon many of us would naturally opt for more material than less regardless though, ha.

The good songs on Hello Nasty are really good. If they would have trimmed down the album to just the best material, it would have been a "classic" album, not just a good one.

It's crazy to me though that they think of Grasshopper Unit and Negotiation Limerick File as fat. Drop Picture This or Dedication and I'd be fine but to each their own I suppose.

Though at the same time that gives me hope for what goodies they might have locked away in the vault.

Strange indeed, especially given that Negotiation was a single (double a-side at least) and it made the anthology. I wonder if Adrock meant the idea of rhyming in limericks more than the particular song. I read somewhere else that the book has a track by track breakdown so it will be interesting to read.

I liked the Sabotage extract, particularly Mario C losing his shit. God bless America! I presume / hope there will be plenty of those kind of little anecdotes and character insights.
