I missed this place

just recovered my password and popped back on for the book tour details.
What a blast from the past... I'm so happy the bbs is still up and running.
Thank you to all who have maintained it over the years.

The bbs was my home screen in high school and I remember the hype of checking every day for details on tt5b; snippets, samples, teasers... and freaking out over seeing "the hiatus is back off"
those days were really magical...

Even though I live in Florida now, you can bet your ass I booked a flight to NY for both Live and Direct events there... It'll be almost 14 years to the day that I saw them live on the pageant tour (that concert is still a milestone in my life) - and I couldn't let this chance pass me by. Seeing Mike and Adam live one more time is legit top of my bucket list - A1.... this will be quite literally a pilgrimage for me to celebrate a band that shaped my life.

When they changed the message board and website layout / font etc at the start of the TT5B campaign... what a sheer thrill it was! And I recall the C-CIO accapella chorus and a single brass snap sample playing depending on what building you clicked on.

Yes, the buildup to TT5B was a lot of fun!

I was able to attend 1 show during the pageant tour (I was a broke college student at the time). I was able to get Floor GA at the show in Fairfax, VA. I stood in the front row right in front of Yauch for most of the show. He looked right at me several times while rhyming. (That sounds really weird, but that’s ok)

This stood as the best experience of my life until I got married(2015) and had our first kid (2018)

Always loved this place. I hope to meet some of you at some point.

It's nice to see a bit of book-related activity here recently. I never posted a lot and never did quite fit in, for whatever reason, but I still prefer BBMB to all this social media nonsense, somehow? :p;)

Long live BBMB. Hope life's treating everyone well! :)
