HOUSTON MEETUP- IMAX movie april 3rd

Haven’t been on the boards since MCA passed....

I’m already counting down the days until the imax premier but wondering if there’s any houston fans here on the board that would want to organize a meetup?

I just want to hardcore geek out with some fellow diehard beastie fans

I'm the same as you, I have visited the site almost regularly but haven't posted in forever, where did you see info on it being shown in Houston? Cause if so then I am 100% down.

I guess i’m HOPING that since houston is a major city they’ll bring it here. Tickets aren’t on sale YET. Seems like there’s interest though in gettin a group together so I guess we’ll stay tuned!

I have been checking the IMAX website frequently with no info for the Boston area. A friend just told me the IMAX theater in Assembly Row in somerville already had tickets onsale for April 2-4. So, be sure to check your local IMAX sites rather than the main site. Glad it was playing more than one night!

If you search fandango for Beastie Boys : The IMAX Experience it will show the Somerville location as the closest to Boston, and AMC Loews Fountain 18 in Stanford TX as the closest near Houston

Wow, I just looked it up here in the Bay and it’s 32.00 a ticket. Is that normal for this kind of thing on IMAX?

Somerville is it’s own town, but for all intents and purposes it IS also Boston. I’m from just outside the city and lived all over Boston for 20 years. (Roxbury, Allston, Jamaica Plain, Somerville, Cambridge, Brighton, Brookline) it’s all Boston.


I have no opinions or thoughts or knowledge about Standfors’s relationship to Houston. :cool:
