Check Your Head Reissue from VinylMePlease

The record club (can't believe that's still a thing) Vinyl My Please is reissuing Check Your Head on dark red vinyl. Apparently it includes from extra swag and they've got a note about some sort of special remastering process, but I don't know anything about remastering.

Yeah I’ve seen this popping up on sites (well, eBay). I know the recent VMP reissue of Nebraska by Springsteen is decent, though.

I was curious how this works: do these record clubs just ask Capitol for a license to press a certain number of these, and then just give Capitol a cut of the revenue? Does the band get involved at all?
