It says "special guests" and it gets 3rd billing under Public Enemy and Ice T. That means the special guests must be "special".

no mention of bboys now, and flav w/X when it was supposed to be PE. weird
at least donald d is still on the bill, a very underrated record from back in the day

Very old school lineup. Peter Gunz is probably the newest act and that was 25 years ago...

Mike and Adam plus their lawyers nixed it. Cease and desist. That’s why it’s not on there.
It’s comparable to the Goldieblox and Monster Energy lawsuits.

Do you know this as a fact or are you guessing?
Don't "tribute" bands perform all the time?
Hurricane always said he was close friends with Adrock. That's why Adrock always helped him on all his solo albums.
If this is true, I would be shocked.

Yeah this is confusing. Why would they put a stop to their music being played by their old friend and former DJ? Seems fishy.

It's nice to see Kool Rock Ski get some love. I kind of felt like The Fat Boys got no recognition during this 50th bday celebration for Hip Hop.

Kool Rock Ski performed at MCA Day this year. It was good to see him performing again. DJ Hurricane was the dj.

That performance from Adam Yauch Park in Brooklyn was from the offshoot of MCA Day which was called “JMJ and MCA Together Forever”
It includes the people who broke off from the MCA Day festivals that Adrock appeared at and shouted out- and they were more about money
Just like Hurricane with his tribute set, I’m not sure why anyone is shocked to see this if it is true he had a cease and desist. It’s clear they aren’t friends and they’re not on good terms lately.

The whole show was postponed.
Whoever was putting this together seems incompetent.

this is really cool, always loved the fat boys. they went off the rails a bit after wipeout and leaned a bit too much into the shenanigans, but i still listen to those early records, and disorderlies still makes me laugh my ass off, and their all you can eat scene in krush groove is legendary.

100% to all of what you just said. Discovering Fat Boys when I was 7 or so is what got me into Hip Hop. My brother and I used to rent Disorderlies all the time.
When Kool Rock does the Brrrrrrr Stick Em for the bboy in that video, I got chills. In the OG video it is Prince Markie D doing it, but shit sounded tight to me.
