My mom has tons of ways of making things that would make some of us (In her family) sick. One in particular (That I used to like before I found out that even the staff at Girls Club didn't like) was making Peanut butter and balognea<sp?> sandwhich (I also had a balognea sandwhich with butter, but wasn't sure if that was concidered edible by others).

So...any particular recipes you make that make other people think your sick?

Well I eat Granny Smith sandwiches: Granny Smith apple slices on fresh buns. Delicious, but it seems to disturb people.

My mom used to make us brown sugar sandwiches. White bread, toasted with butter, then about 3-4 tablespoons of brown sugar. Eat.

My friend Jordan loves pancakes with peanut butter and syrup. Just in case you aren't getting enough carbs, I guess.

A lot of people think sushi is disgusting. I think bad sushi certainly is.

Bad sushi is to canned spinach as good sushi is to fresh spinach, methinks.

When I eat pickles, I want Oreos.

When I eat Oreos, I want pickles.

Nobody else I know does this. Most people are more than happy to point out that it's digusting.

I love peanut butter and dill pickle sandwiches.

I think people underestimate peanut butter, because they think it's just for jelly, but it tastes good with so many things. It has so much sandwich potential.

My father eats condensed milk out of the can. He sometimes adds either nutella or lemon and sugar.

What makes ME sick is mustard in deviled eggs. That's just wrong. There's no way you can see it coming, either.

And to mix a drink with food. An italian pizza (Preferably with tuna fish) and then as a drink the dutch cold chocolate molk (Chocomel), people round me hate it. I love it:)

well, my dog eats his throw up.

at my brother's birthday party a long time ago, he mixed ranch dressing with 7-up and drank it. then another time, when he first got his braces and his teeth were sore, he put the night's dinner of fish sticks and ketchup and corn in a blender, whipped it up and drank it. no wonder he talks so wierd nowadays.

whenever my dad has a salad, he's got the iceberg lettuce, with ranch dressing, cheese, raisins, artichoke hearts, and because he has a beard, it gets all over the corners of his mouth, and he's all like, slurping and chewing...utterly disgusting. he also puts salt on his apples.

every day from kindergarten to sixth grade i had a pepperoni and mustard sandwich in my lunch. never bought the school lunch. every once in a while mom would mix it up, put it in a pita and add some cucumber slices for some crunch...god i miss that taste. veggie pepperoni just isn't the same.

oh and i eat those little green martini olives like there's no tomorrow. i take the pimentos out with a fork (or suck 'em out) because they're just slimy tasteless things, and then eat them by the handful. then i drink the juice :( my stomach usually hates me afterward, though. i can down a whole jar if you let me. i especially love the collosal ones
giant jalepeno stuffed ones are awesome, but i can only have about 4 or 5 of those before i start to get mad stomachaches.
i'm the same way with deli pickles.

is cosmo a veggies only eater now?

i always like at facy events when they have the cheese tray and stuff with the mustard...thats the best mustard ever, but usually i dont have it at home...blah

do you eat those greek spiced olives? the are sooo good, the only downside is that they have pits in them...when i was a kid i used to devour black olives and run around with them on all my fingertips. good times

cosmo105
06-25-2004, 03:26 PM
yup, i'm a veggiesaurus rex. vegan and stuff.
i'm not a fan of the spiced olives. they don't rock my world.
i think everyone did the black olives on the fingertips thing as kids. i pretended they were royal guards and stuff and then i got to eat their heads  but i had them all the time when i was younger, and now i'm kind of sick of them...i'll only have a few at a time.

No-one that I know will allow me to order the chicken livers at Nando's because they feel its sick! mmm...but they taste so good :p Marmite and cheese sandwiches (Marmite on its own is enough to make some people ill).
Along the same lines, cheese and piccalilli (although, i do concede that eating luminous food is probably not that good in the long run  !). At school the local kebab shop used to provide us with a 'Gary Special' (named after a pupil that asked for everything on the kebab). This was a donner kebab with ketchup, garlic sauce, mayo, chilli sauce and mustard. Sounds so wrong but tasted so good (mind you, at that time we thought Milli Vanilli wa the future of music  ). Oh, Black Pudding is another for the llist. What's so wrong with a little pig blood between friends

I've never understood people putting syrup anywhere near their bacon.

i was watching maximum exposure and they showed these thais hunting bats and making this BAT SOUP. it was fucking gross. they just stuck the bats in this pot with onions (or some shit that looked like onions) and it was this whitish broth. I couldn't even look at the screen any longer cuz it was so nauseating.

but other than that theres this eastern european dish called pzca or galarett which is cube of crushed up beef bone jello. or something like that. if anyone knows what i'm talking about then maybe they can elaborate cuz thats all i know bout it. yeh so it really looks unappetizing and i stay away from it.
