How come they have to be 10k and under now?

They used to be 20k? Just wondering if y'all could perhaps change it to 20 k?

Because now i can't use half of the avatars that i used to have.

I'm taking a final and half of it has to do with channge and peoples reaction to change. So this is fitting.

Thanks again guys (maybe gals?)

um, minton? I hate to bother you again but it still is saying the avatars have to be under 10kb, even when you said in another thread that they can be under 19.5kb. I tried it with a 16.5 kb file and it did not work by using the url or the attachment method.

Oh, yeah. Users are capped at 10240 bytes. Maybe we can increase that. I'll see.

He's not the only one. I would like to see them increased as well. Add this one to your list (http://www.ualberta.ca/~rodneyf/(otherpages)/alivesm.gif) I can optimise it to around 16kb after that it's crap.

Can you hook a brother up?

boomin asked this a while back in another thread because he's a dork. so far, no luck. we're stuck with 10k.

Avatar enlargement can affect urination. Be happy with your size.

it's not the physical size I'm talking about it's the amount of frames you can use in the gif file. sure you can have a super lame 5 frame avatar but how can you capture cool dance moves like this???2.0 mb (http://www.ualberta.ca/~rodneyf/(otherpages)/alive.gif) if that's too big see this one (http://www.ualberta.ca/~rodneyf/(otherpages)/alivesm.gif)
