Oh I am totally going.Shoreline Kind of sux as an venue compared to
some other out door ones so try your best to get inside seats. The show
should be pretty good. Live 105's shows are pretty decent. And the beasties
will rule of course.
i got tix this morning. yay!

Yeah- got them as well. I wish they had a presale though. I got
*decent* seats inside but fuck i got them right when they went on
sale.. I hate being the die-hardest and still not getting super dope
seats.. I am beyond excited though.. First show in 94 now ten years
later back in the fold. Gotta love it..

Yo if i'm not mistaken isnt shoreline one of the better sounding
venues in the US...The last time I was there, the place sounded
sweet.... It also looks real fresh too... kind of like A big top of a
circus... (y) (arent you going for the sound)
Your the first person i know of that said it suxs?? whats your reasons...

shoreline does have good sound, but if you're sitting up on the lawn, you're a long ways from the stage, and will be watching the boys on a video screen. if you have the seats up front, it's cool cause you can chill in the seat up close, without being pushed around, and you can see the stage real good. but if you want to mosh, you have to go up back on the lawn, which is weird.
i was gonna go, but it's too expensive to me, to see the beasties do like 30 minutes for $65 incl service charge or whatever. well if you don't mind being on the lawn i guess it's not that expensive ($35). I guess...still too much imo. I'll see them when they do their own tour.

I'm trying to go, but I have a swim meet the next day.
Anyone have any idea how late this concert will go?

Supposedly, according to rumours on the Live105 message board, the Beasties are playing a 2 hour set. Not 1/2 hour. 2 HOURS!!!! I'm going cause I live in the Bay Area...and it'll be my first Beasties show

Sorry to burst a hype thread but i read that as well on the live 105 web site..
And 2 hours is so not going to happen.. even though i wished it would..
I have seen the beasties 8 times now and I have never seen them play over
1:45 or so and that was at the 1995 MSG show. When they normally
tour solo they play 90 minute or so sets. They played ~ 45 to 50 mins
at coachella last year. Being this is a festival show and its at shoreline
that usually has an 11 pm curfew I bet they will play the typical
1 hour or so festival set time.

I agree with mcamuto.
There is no way they would play two hours. I've seen them 12 times and they have never gone a full 2 hours. And all of those except for the LTI concert were with instruments. I'd be happy with a good 1 hour set. Hopefully a little longer.

I'd go, but I'm gonna be on some honeymoon shit. We will have to discuss the logistics and ergonomics in regards to the midwest leg of the tour.
Caravan or RV
Hotub or Jacuzzi
and such.

Yeah. SF is like an hour From wine country and you can get your
shi-shi bling romance on. Its pretty $$ up there though. But you
can get a sick 80 doller massage if you want.. :)
Mountain view is where the concert is and is like a 35 minute drive from
SF itself down in silicon valley. Its like over an hour drive with traffic.
