tickets sold out in 2 seconds at the postoffices! we never had a chance to get them at the postaloffices

Now a bunch of moneymekers are selling tickets on ebay and marktplaats.nl for over 100 euros, i tought it was illegal to sell them trough?

Is there another concert coming up so the real fans have a chance to go to?

I don't like the system as well. People here waited 6 years to see them and you can't really appreciate the idea of the upcoming show with this way, you are simply stressed out till last minute. Not speaking about tickets sold illegally ect...
On another point, it's a possibility to see them in smaller clubs than usual.
At least regualr people of the meassage board should have been warned much earlier.

yes, most bands that rely on such a strong and loyal fan base will offer pre sales for their fan sites first and then general public

First of all, this is a publicity tour. NOT A TOUR. The fact that they decided to do some songs and invite the fans instead of what bands USUALLY do on a promo tour (a few songs and interviews for the press) speaks volumes about the boys.

Also why are you going to flood NLM for this? They have nothing to do with these events whatsoever.

all this does is piss people off, 150 tickets for a widely publicised show is just a tool to spark intrest and make scalpers very very rich.

This is a very difficult situation. You have the Beasties, 6 years, very small club, promotional tour, very few public tickets...people are going to be disappointed.

I don't believe the Beasties have done a "promotional type" tour since PB. And then that wasn't followed by a real tour. This time we know we're getting a real tour so everything will be ok in the end.

I will share my disappointment though. I'm flying to San Fran for the June 11 show and was on the phone with the ticketmaster agent 3 minutes before they went on sale. As soon as the tickets were available there was nothing available (according to the person i was speaking with) in the three front sections 101, 102, 103. Ticket brokers/agencies have somehow got a hold on this market. And within hours tickets for these sections are up on ebay. I know the Beasties don't have anything to do with this but it does kinda suck.

Anyway...i'll still get busy in frisco...fool around in fresno. :)

All around the world we see same scheme - real Beastie Boys fans need to get a struggle for tickets,when in the same time some people(who really nothing knows about Beasties something) make profit of it.
