I don't know why most bands have that retarded "no photos" policy.
Even if you shot the best damn photo on earth...you still can't make much money selling a concert photo.
Some artists are annoyed by flash bulbs..and I can see why the Beasties wouldn't want flashes going off every second considering Adrock has epilepsy (however it's spelled).
I hardly see how a camera phone could do any harm.

ya, not being able to have a camera sucks... how many people were there?

seriously..whats with the no photo policy type deal goin on?
was it under the authority of beastie boys themselves or the fellas organising the show. i.e radio one and mtv2? since they have the rights of broadcasting the show on air, perhaps?
weird.. I guess I would understand if its with respect to an impending medical condition (read:epilepsy) or something like that if directed by the beasties themselves..but its kinda doubtful since adrock gets his picture taken all the time.
so its probably the press who intends to get firsthand dibs on everything.
what a bunch of mofos. (n)

Often times it doesn't matter what the band's policy is on photos and recording the show...it's the venue's policy.
Hey BeastieBoys.com....is that a question you could pass to the guys? What is their official position on fans taking photos (with or without flashes) and audio/video recording their shows? This will be their first tour where technology is so advanced and affordable that everyone will wanna bring their camera phone and stuff. Thanks

i think there a few different types of epilepsy, i know that you can have epilepsy where you have fits for no reason and there is another type where the fits are caused by flashing lights etc.

yeah we just got back from the gig coz we stayed put all nite totally overwhelmed!!!! the gig was amazing we salute mix master as he was fuckin sick to open the show. Me and my seven mates had a really great time! best moments: shouting ' time to get ill', bneing interveiwed 4 MTV2, and best song 4 me was three mcs and 1 dj but opening with root down was a top choice. They were jokers and put on an enjoyable performance.

I'll second that. MMM was quality. I liked they way he used samples from other recent tracks, like 'Jenny from the Block' etc. A nice touch.

They were fantastic. I got a few pics on my phone but you can't see anything, just lights. I was right down the front behind a guy with a back pack on. I loved it all.

Xavito and I were at the gig together, but it would've been cool to meet some other people from the MB. BTW, we'll be in Paris for the gig on friday, if anybody wants to meet ...

hey laura, how did you get your tickets??
my camera on my phone is complete shit ,, i would not even put the pics on the web as they would have been crap.
i think they had this policy to prevent from RECORDING the show as a lot of cameras have built in video cameras and it's difficult to see that at once
