I'm not sure if it's all mac users, but I've noticed a few of us are having trouble logging into the chat. Can you provide us with some kind of "howto" or something? We'd appreciate it alot. Thanks. (keep up the good work, the site's looking better by the day!)

I'm not a Mac person myself, but I know that this is all there is to it. Step one is to download Snak here (http://www.snak.com/). That's your IRC client which will allow you to connect to the channel. So you install it. Next, run through this here (http://www.snak.com/SnakQuickstart.html) using:

Server: irc.cockos.com
Channel: #beastieboys
Port: 6667

That should work for you. Let me know specific issues if there are error messages or whatnot.

I did everything you said, but then the dialogue just says:

Info: Connecting to server #beastieboys
Info: Not connected

And then it just sits idle.

How do I get it to actually connect? Shouldn't do it automatically when I choose "irc.cockos.com" in the "connect to" dialogue?

Cool. For others, make sure channel isn't being used as server. That way, it'll work fine.
