Even if you clear all cookies? That's weird. Clearing all cookies should log you out, especially if you do that and then click the Log Out link.

that's exactly what I do each time. Like I said it's a MAC, log out works well on the PC.

Minton can you get access to a MAC or anyone who is already a user...
try this.

enter your user name and check the little square titled remember me
and your password

try to log out
all cookes cleared works
return to previous viewed page or press the other option on the page
---I'm still logged in EACH TIME! AUTOMATICALLY
AND every time I visit the site!

I just want to go on sharing the computer with another user

Weird. Which browser (including version) are you using, on which O/S?

have you tried deleting the cookie file manually on the computer?

not that you should have to do that. but if you want to share it with another user i suppose you won't check that "remember me" box again.

Yeah, I looked into this. And clearing the cookies manually, then killing cache and history is all I can think of. That should really solve it.

I don't know how to clear them manualy on a MAC. And I won't be hitting that "remember me" box again due to this.

I just asked someone here, they say it's not exactly straight forward (and Macs are supposed to be user-friendly?). A lot of people use a third party program called CookieMuncher. You'll have to look into those though yourself, I'm no expert on that stuff in terms of Macs.

Thanks Minton... I'll look into that program. My MAC gives me less headaches than the PC used at work. MAC 's are still a pain in different ways I guess.

This issue is still not at rest, no emergency, not a top priority now. Just being straight foreward.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

I use Mac OS 9.1 and use Internet Explorer and I don't have any problems when I clear my cookies. Every time I clear the cookies I am logged out of this site...
