So what do you guys use to remix ?

Some of you maybe remember my terrific intergalactic remix :D , I want too remix again, Im getting a new computer over a couple of weeks and lots of times (vacation). So what do you use ? and why ?

Hi AimeScier,
My weapons of choice are FL Studio as the main midi sequencing host along with various plugin instruments and effects.
Why FL Studio? Main reason I like to use this software is that I find its midi key editor a breeze to work with for programming midi and midi automation. Oh and it has a great mixer for routing effects.

I use Acid 4. its easy to sample and sequence stuff. cause I basically steal all my music.

cool edit pro has some nice effects.

I sometimes use FL studio but I dont have a MIDI keyboard.

If you don't use midi - AcidPro is a great program for Remixing, here's a link:

hey doods. Don't forget about the hardware! I suppose that's a larger commitment though. I use an MPC 1000 and my turntables. Then master it in Cakewalk.

Hardware indeed, but all I need is my Edirol PCR 30 midi keyboard with sliders and knobs which I assign for automation of thingymebobs and wotnots.
I'd love to get dicey with turntables though :)
