There's an article about the Beastie Boys called " 33 Things that you should know about The Beastie Boys" in this month's issue of Blender magazine. good read

very tight... is it an interview, or just stupid facts about the boys?

Blender magazine is garbage, I won't buy it even if the beastie boys are in it.

not really an interview. has a few quotes from the Beasties, but it seems to be all from previous interviews. if you've got the Spin magazine piece they did in 1998, you have seen it all before

Then also reviewed the new album, gave it 3 out of 5, but didn't really say anything bad about it

the article's comprised of old quotes and new ones, I think. (They're asked about preping TT5B, if I'm not mistaken.) Way too much text to transcribe to this site but a good read... I'll try to post the review later today. It's interesting, though it sounds like the reviewer went into it with expectations rather than just listening to the new shit.

Blender shit? Insofar as mass market music mags, it's the tops! You won't see Rolling Stone or Spin review such a wide variety of genres. Plus it can be rather humorous... btw, did you catch that article about the Faith No More's guitarist's 2nd career as a giant pumpkin farmer?!!
