Here's something I found at my local international press centre.
They're mainly talking about different parts of New York: who's from where etc and the interviewer's friend in NY who's got dirty balls
(funny that "balls" are "eggs" in both German and Finnish!)

I didn't know they talked german that well  :D

Its a good interview, but my german skills are very rusty, at the end Mike sais:

Thank you, that you don't ask the same questions everybody asks us. This was probably the best interview in a (longer)while.

This is the translation of the interview. My English is not that perfect but I Hope you understand it.

The Beasties are nearly as old as this magazine. First time they made it on our cover was in 1986 and second time for exactly 10 years in June 1994. They had a moved past somewhere between punk, funk and krunk (maybe crunc, but what is it?) and selling Grand Royal in the internet they and the grandmaster of turntables, MMM, concentrate on the really important thing: MUSIC.
The title iof their newest album is "TT5B" and a loveletter to NYC and it's kind of music-art.They worked nearly 6 years on this record, in the halftime-break two towers disappeared.
In this record the oldschool-love comes back and the American gouvernment get's dissed (can't translate it better).

But the Beastie Boys are not the Beastie Boys if they would just stick to political stuff and because of this there is also a big package of humor on this record.
To stick to our image we don't let the Beasties pass Germany without giving us an interview. Here we go:

MCA: Good morning!

GOOD MORNING!
Adrock: The rhythm, the rebel without a case/I'm drinking coffee without a pause.

I SAY HIP HOP AND YOU SAY...
Adrock: Schnitzel

FOR EXAMPLE
MCA: We should start with the Bronx.

YEAH, OK
MCA: Cause everything started in the Bronx.
Mike D: Where Hip Hop was born.

YEP, THE BRONX

Mike D: For me personally everything started in the Bronx. My Mum Dad met there.

SO YOU GREW UP IN THE BRONX?
Mike D: No, in Manhattan. But my parents grew up there,so what should I say? Boogie Down bronx! Africa Bambaataa, KRS One, Grandmaster Flash, The Furious Five.
Adrock:Disco Fever!!!
Mike D: The roots of Hip Hop...
MCA:named as a Dutch farmer.
Mike D: What was his name?
MCA: Ehm, Bronck.
Mike D: Was it Bronck or Brock?
MCA: No they said, let's go Bronck's farm.
Mike D: Funny how the writing changes. I mean, that's Hip Hop. In a kind of way.
Adrock: Very old Hip Hop.

IN A NETHERLAND STYLE.
Adrock. A Dutch started the whole thing.

BUT THE BRONX IS NOT SO TIGHT( I mean without any hills) AS THE NETHERLANDS.
Mike D: No, there are many Hills, there where The Cloisters are.
MCA: There are the The Cloisters?
Mike D: Yep, a part of Boogie Down.

MANHATTAN.
Mike D: The Shizznit! (What's that?)
adrock: Studio 54.
Mike D: Genitorture, Downtown.
Adrock: The Deuce. Manhattan is a really beautifull place, there happens so much.
MCA: It's a disgusting, dirty little city.

BUT THERE AIN'T NO GARBAGE NO MORE. THE BOWERY AND THE TIMES SQUARE HAVE BEEN CLEANED.
Mike D: That' true, especially the Bowery. It changed completly.
Adrock: Everythings gonna cleaned.
MCA: Otherwise changes NY every second directly in front of our eyes. Especially anhattan changes much faster than the other boroughs.

STATEN ISLAND
All: WU-Tang! Wu-Tang!

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!
MCA: Sure, there are other things.
Adrock: I've been only two times there. One time I've seen the Dead Kennedies, the other time I don't remember.
Mike D: I always went there by ship.
MCA: Never with a car?
Mike D: Not that I can remember.
MCA: So you never passed the Verranzano Bridge?
Mike D: Why should I, it only goes to Staten Island.
MCA: Yeah, it goes from Brooklyn to Staten Island.

I THINK THERE IS A BIG COBRACOLLECTION ( I MEAN THE ZOO)
IT COULD BE THAT IT'S THE BIGGEST COLLECTION IN THE WORLD. BUT MAYBE THAT'S BULLSHIT.
MCA:Cobras like snakes?

YES; THEY HAVE AN ABBEY THERE; TOO.
Mike D: There's a zoo?
MCA: What means THEY?

THE PEOPLE FROM STATEN ISLAND.
I SEARCHED IN STATEN FIR A WU-TANG-SHOP, BUT I FOUND NOTHING.

It goes on like this, I skip to the important part.

I TALKED TO RICK RUBIN AND HE SAID, THAT HIP HOP NOT REALLY EXITING. dO YOU MISS SOMETHING IN NEW HIP HOP?
MCA: I'm surprised that Rick thinks this way and on the other hand thinks that something is moving in Rock'n'Roll. I think it's the other way round. W´henever I listen to a Rock-album I think:"Wow, they are still making the same shit as ever." But when I listen to a new Hip Hop thing I'm really exited.
I mean the beats, not the lyrics.
Mike D: That's what I say. the production is gettin better and better but the lyrics are pretty shitty.
MCA: But not everytime. There is a develpment, too.
Mike D: Okay, they ecspect us to critsies this. But when you listen to some popsongs, they just sing "Beenie weeni"

ON TT5B YOU DID WHAT YOU DO ALL THE TIME, YOU REPRESENT THE BEASTIE BOYS: ON SOME OLD SCHOOL-SHIT YOU MAKE SOMETHING FOR THE PRESENT. IS THERE SOMEONE WITH WHOME YOU WOULD LIKE TO WORK WITH?
Adrock: Adam (MCA) said that he really wanted to do something with Sha Rock from Funky Four+1. But that will maybe never happen. I'd like to hear something from Sponnie Gee.
All: Yeah, that would be funny.

ON EVERY RECORD YOU MAKE THERE IS ALWAYS ONE HIP HOP PERIOD ('85-'92) THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE. ON THE NEW RECORD, TOO. THERE ARE MANY OLD SCHOOL-SAMPLES AND LYRICS.
MCA: What do you mean?
Adrock: He means that we still live in the past.

NO, THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEAN.
Mike D: That's cool.
Adrock: But it'd right. it's just a very important period for us. The middle school.
Mike D: The middle school moved many things. The with the old Hip Hop came with "Sucker MC's" from Run-DMC, after this many things were different.
Adrock: The teen-years of Hip Hop. Many interesting things happened.
MCA: The reason why we concentrate on this period is the age that we've been in this period. there are some times in your live that are very important. Music is just impressive. I know that from many people, music can have devastating aftermathes.

DOES THIS STILL HAPPEN TO YOU?
MCA: Yeah, I love to hear music. the music that you've been listening in teen-years, that's the level you compare everything you hear later with.

I RECOGNIZED THAT THE BEASTIES ARE NEARLY AS OLD AS "SPEX", NEARLY 25 YEARS. IN THIS TIME YOU STICKED TOGETHER AND KICKED NO-ONE. WHY?
Adrock: We tried! (He points at Mike D)
MCA: We had five different Record Label Presidents.
Adrock: Guys, should we tell him?
MCA: No we can't do this!!!!
Mike D: We wanted to make some bigger exchanges in the offseason, but...
Adrock: We wanted to sell Mike to Massive Attack, but they didn't want him.

SO BAD?
Adrock: It was that bad.
Mike D: look at massive Attack today. Now they cry after the deal. And now we have this new record. I could have supported the franchising really really good.

YOU STILL THINK ABOUT LEAVING THE BEATSIES?
Adrock: Sure, they can come back everytime.
MCA: They just counted with Mikes sideplay, with such moves.
Adrock: Mike was third in the rancking.
Mike D. But I had some knee-problems and they didn't know how my future will look like.
Adrock:But the was all just buisness, Mike had no anger against us.

BUT YOU ARE REALLY GOOD PLAYERS. IN YOUR PROMO-INTERVIEW YOU SIT IN A ROW AND PASS THE SPEECH TO EACH OTHER WITH NO BREAKS: THAT'S IMPRESSIVE, HOW GOOD YOU WORK TOGETHER.
Mike D: Back to my exchange to Massive. This would have destroyed the chemistry of the team. Many people underrate those situations, when they say you are too old for this or that team. It takes years until the connection works.

JUST TODAY THE STONES MESSED UP A SHOW. IT'S GOOD THAT YOU LEFT GO-GO-GIRLS AND BIG PLASTIC PENISE IN YOUR PAST.
MCA: You think we could sell the Stones some of this stuff?
Mike D: That's what we should do!!!

I COULD ARRANGE SOMETHING. I KNOW THIS GUY...
MCA: Of course you get some money for this.
Mike D: I can imagine to talk to the Stones. I don't want Charlie Watts in the band, but he has some cool beats I' dlike to have.

BUT HE DOESN'T LOOK THAT GOOD.
Mike D: That's ok. I mean, he has the beats.
MCA: And he's a gentleman.

REALLY?
MCA: That's what they say.
Mike D: It seems that he is the only nice guy in the band. That's word in the street.

HOW DO YOU GROW UP WITH HIP HOP?
Mike D: The cool thing is, that Hip Hop refreshes itself every six month and a new beatwalks down the street. When Timbaland released "Get your freak on, that changed everything, the whole game. Busta Rhymes' "Put your your hands where my eyes could see", that changed everything, too.
Adrock: Jesse Jaymes: "Thirty Footer in your face".
Mike D: That sucked!!!

THANKS YOU A LOT.
Mike D: Thank you, that you don't ask the same six questions. The was the most entertaining interview for a long time.

Thanks paece!
It would've taken me years to try and translate all this, and even then really bad! :p I did understand most of it, but then try and put it in words in another language that isn't my mother tongue would've been tricky!

Thanks a lot b-grrrlie, and paece!-man. (y) (y)

I love how Adrock says that the change in spelling to "the Bronx" is very old hip hop.

The shirt that Adrock's wearing is also really cool. I think it's got something to do with the Bad News Bears. At least, the guy in the upper left.

P.S. "the shizznit" just means "the shit". It's good, like "it rocks".

I'm pretty sure the shirt is just a montage of pictures of Kelly Leak from the movie The Bad News Bears.
