i'm there. it should be on like tron. how long ofn a set do yoiu think itnwill be? i say short since the bill says "special guest appearance." appearance? is that like "here's an oldie, here's the new single, one more oldie, We're Out!"

god, i hope not... i dont feel like spending the entire day in the sun to get 4 minutes out of them...
at coachella last year, they played like 45 min. to an hour... i hope we get at least that...

I'm going to BFD on Friday. I'm taking the day off work, driving down from SF later in the morning with a carload of friends, awwyeah. We're all in our 20's, me and one of my friends are pretty diehard beastie fans.

I got GA tickets, the plan is to get on the lawn down at the Shoreline ASAP, so we get good seating. You know that fucker is gonna get packin as the day goes on.

Anybody wanna possibly meet up that day? I'm sure there'll be some cold beers and good jokes going around. I haven't seen the Beastie Boys since Oakland during the Hello Nasty tour. I hope they play at least 45 mins to an hour. If their recent shows in Europe are any indication of what to expect, I think we'll be a-o-k.

I'm also on the IRC channel if you guys are there.... hit me up via e-mail or there or whatever if you wanna try meeting up with some fellow diehard B-Boys fans.

I am going also, I fly into San Jose Tursday night. I have an extra ticket for the lawn if anyone wants to give me what I gave for it. I found a most killer ticket on ticketmaster today and couldn't pass up the seat.

probably like 45 minutes.. typical festival set.. i think the meaning of
the term 'special guest' is the fact that the beastie boys are a huge
band in comparision to the others (volient femmes.. come on) and
its a special treat that they are playing there. i mean.. when at a festival
does a band play two songs and leave.. unless you are like guns
and roses and walk out on the crowd. they are they headliners and
will probably give the typical festival set.

im there.. 9th show cant wait.. even got pretty decent inside seats..

I am so hyped right now. Yesterday I logged on and found the sweetest ticket on ticketmaster. Freaking 6th row ticket centerstage. Row B Sec 102.

I still have the lawn ticket if anyone wants it.

Hey guys,

I'll be wearing a black shirt with an orange imprint of a 22 Fillmore MUNI bus on it. I'm a tall motherfucker with an Ad Rock-looking haircut. I'll probably be sipping beer and yelling "YEAAAAAAAAAAAUUUH!" and "WHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUATTTTTTT!?!?" on the lawn with some friends of mine. If you see me at BFD, feel free to come by and say what's up. Always cool to meet new people.

I'll be there!!! just moved to frisco and so excited i moved somewhere that the beasties will play. saw them last year at field day fest, hope they have improved a it since then . Taking caltrain from sf, does anyone know when the show ends??? or how late caltrain runs ?? if anyone has car space i'd gladly help pay for gas + shit

Chances are at shoreline the show will end at 11. I think they have a curfew there. I have
been to a few shows there that all have ended at 11 exactly. Even last year at lollopolooza
janes cut a song or two from the set and it was 11 dead on when it was over.

You can get the caltrain schedule online. I think the last one leaves san jose at
like midnight but am not positive. Its a few miles from shoreline to the
caltrain station. Would offer to lend a hand but have a full ride.

You prolly can take caltrain down and find somebody in the crowd to give you
a lift back.. You can ride a bike as well. I used to work right there and its like a 20
min bike ride from caltrain to shoreline..

Yea, Im working the BFD all day at the shoreline. They usually always end shows at 11pm. I'll be checking IDs for alcohol bracelets in the daytime. I should be off by the time the real show (b boys) starts. For yall that don't know, the new album is off the chain yall! They're bringing hiphop back to the way it should be!
