But beasties are not jewish at all...
Mike is into hindouism, and Yauch is strongly into buddhism. Now I know that they have jewish connections (from grandparents, or whatever), but doesn't "jewish" define someone who is into the religion??? I, myself have jewish relatives, but don't consider myself as jew, because I don't believe nor do I respect the traditions...
But then, I don't know fuck all about religion and stuff, so maybe I'm totally wrong ...

Yes, you're right, to a degree. One can change religions, and Judiasm is a religion. However, if you've been raised in that culture it'll always be a part of you to some degree.
