i was listening to hfs today and thought i heard that they're going to have wrist bands they give out at the show with the winner's names on them so that you can only go if you win them

That dude Tim Virgin leave information on the 2003 Nutcracker :D Which I got a hold 2 days before the official announcement. But I have seen him at DFP 6, Foo Fighters at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York walking out the back door, Blink 182 9:30 Club $1 show. This show right now its a pain in the butt to get into. I have gotten into Viacom and AOL shows, but this Viacom is getting tuffer by the minute. Especially that ebay auction, which I know who the seller is. Best part is that he doesn't know me :D If this keeps up this might be tuffer than the Foo Fighters Broadband show at Black Cat or the Metallica Bowery Ballroom show. But you will see me in the front :D once I get in :D

By the way that ebay auction will be taken down, after the radio station does their investigation of the winner who put the tickets up on ebay.

Here's a post from craigslist today -- it seems to make sense.

Do NOT pay anyone anything to get tickets to WHFS' show.

No matter what anyone tells you, it is impossible to get you in on their name.
There will be no tickets, you can't transfer the name at the show.
They will only be giving out wristbands, and only will give them to the name on the list.
And then that person will go in. Or, they forfeit their tickets.
No transferring. No exceptions.

Maybe someone will hook you up and let you be their +1, but really...
Everyone knows someone who would give their right arm for a ticket.
Don't hold your breath.

And don't give anyone anything (money, traded goods, etc.) for tickets.
You're just begging to get ripped off.

Ever since the surprise show in '98 I've wanted to see them at 930, but unfortunately this is becoming insane. I do hope that one of you who has been posting and as frustrated as I am with hfs gets in to the show (I'm not giving up yet), and I'm happy to be a "plus one!"

BTW -- The ebay guy also listed a telephone number so I am sure they will track him down.

I got my tickets from the record company, I have to pick them up at the door, I can hand them over to you when I pick them up, or transfer the name off of the will call list.

Is he telling the truth?

I did look at this guys past history and all he sells is tickets. He does have over 500 feedback and it's 99.6% positive. That's pretty damn good. Maybe he did get tickets or access of some kind. HFS might not know about stuff the record label gives out.

Basically ticket scalpers do not tell their source of where they got their tickets from. To be honest with you its hard to say. But I know this Cr*pper does. What a stupid idea to put the name of the store that he works at in his ebay screen name.

yeah so there's no way to get in unless you win on the radio station...they're printing wristbands with your name on it, your wristband has to match your id so the only way to go is to win...by the way i got tickets today!!!!!!! hell yeah!!!!!
