just a small note, the wHFS contest requires an appearance on "network television", which I think excludes cable TV channels. kind of a stupid contest, but i guess its worth the tix to them to get their radio station name publicized. i've been calling non-stop, been #5 and #6, but no luck yet. even worse than the busy signal is when i get a ring for about 2 minutes, after which i get a weird busy-signal-sped-up "you have been disconnected" fscking signal.

i wouldnt be so worried except there are not many tour dates and i dont know if i could make any of them, so i have to win tix to this one.....

I just won the tickets 12:30pm Caller #9 finally. I have been 4,6,7,7,and 8!
The first dial! I almost fainted like a little girl. I could'nt believe it. Sorry to gloat but it was starting to take over my life. And there is no-one awake for me to tell. Persistance pays off. I never win like most of us. But you just have to keep trying. It seems to be that the later in the night the better your chances. I was 8 the other night. Less callers I guess. There can be no "scalpers" idiot. Because if you have been reading all these posts or listining to 99.1 in D.C., there are no physical tickets. They write your name down and give you a wrist band with your name on it. The wrist band is specially made and you can not take it off, transfer it or anything. This is done to prevent scalping! Even if you win tickets at the pre-sale today on-line, you will go there and "not" get a ticket! You will show your id and get a wrist band.
So Scalp that.
Get a helmet and get in the game.
I have nothing against what Mike C did. He just made it a little harder to say the least. Let's face it, everyone can't go to the show. All fans will not be able to attend. So let's not make the process more difficult.

Just a few helpful hints...
You can just buy 1 ticket during the pre-sale. And no more than 2.
What ever credit card info you use must match the ID you present at will call. So if you are going to have others try, keep that in mind. You will need their info and vise- versa. But remember if two persons get through on-line using the same info..... you can only get one wrist band. That one wrist band will allow you + 1guest in the show. Just trying to help. And oh yea, Mike C is a tard!

I heard this when I won the tickets from 99.1. (i guess you missed my "I won" post). Anyway, you can buy 1 ticket if you choose. You can not buy more than 2 tics. So your choice is to buy 1 or buy 2. That's it That's All.
Whatever credit card info you enter needs to match the ID you use at will call. Make sence? So if you and your girl are going to try from two different PC's then just use the same info. (credit info and personal info, i.e address, dob and the like) If you both get tics with the same info. Only the one's who's name you used will be able to claim the tic's. To increase your chances I would have two persons on two different PC's with their own info. This way if only one of you gets through you booth get to go provided you buy 2 tics.
