Well I do that with the sonic youth message board, but then I miss updates cuz I never look at their main page.

i'm cool with the way it is, cuz an extra window doesn't bother me to begin with and sometimes i'll read something on the boards and then want to go back to the main page really quick to check for something like a repeat airing of an mtv special or something

the homepage would be more inviting if it had a spot for the message board
there are many other places to click for access but nothing like entering on the main page... I think

Actually, if you look at the main page there are recent topics towards the bottom right. Just click on one of those and you will get straight to the board and that thread.
