i was just flipping through channels and i caught this mtv news segment on the beastie boys at weenie roast. they showed footage of them performing paul revere and then went into this little "pass the mic" segment of the bands at weenie roast trying to remember the song and spit it out. it was pretty funny but weird seeing yellowcard, hoobastank, new found glory, and even MODEST MOUSE knowing it. not a fan of any of them except modest mouse. anyway, id like to see rap and hip hop artists spilling out beastie boys rhymes. i hate seeing them only on rock countdowns.

beastie boys are always on hip hop countdowns! anyways, i was watching tv a few days ago and this commercial for a cd where a rap group which i forgot the name of sings no sleep till brooklyn. i was like, "aw hell no, you didn't just do that. you better cite that as a beastie song, you cheap bastard." but i'm glad they're doing a beastie song. they even had the guitar part in there, which was sorta wierd hearing it amongst these black dudes sitting in leather chairs with girl's asses waving around as usual.
