Hi. I'm proud to present my entry for the contest.
Tomorrow I'm leaving for vacations till july, 17th, so I couldn't make a specific remix for the competition. I'm sad because I have some fresh beats in process but I don't have time enough to finish a competent song.

I have some mixes that people like as the body movin or sure shot ones, but I've decided to join with my "That's It, That's All" remix aka Mechanical Parrot.
Taking into account the judgement criterion of the contest (creativity, technical difficult and "mystery elements") this is my most balanced remix:
creativity: it's a remix of a song that officially didn't exist when I made it.
technical difficult: it's a remix made as from a live song.
mystey elements: it has some surprising songs like a short "b-boys making with the freak freak" sample and a beat after 2:40
On the whole i like the idea of present an instrumental mix because it's quite defferent of the others
MECHANICAL PARROT LISTEN (http://www.acidplanet.com/components/embedfile.asp?PID=369940&T=1951) DOWNLOAD (right click & save as) (http://www.xente.mundo-r.com/Uru-Nitro/Uru-Nitro%20-%20Mechanical%20Parrot.mp3)

(for the judges: please download the song because it's much better quality than the file for listening)

I don't know if it's needed a description of the mix, so I'm writting the same as I did when I released the song:

"Since Adam Yauch confirmed "That's It" will be on the new album I wanted to remix this song. But how to remix a song without the acapella? Most of you asked for a remix, but it seemed impossible. One day listening the intergalactic prisioners of technology remix i though "why not?" an instrumental remix!
a lot of people will find it noise, and probably with reason, but I just tried to do something fresh. a new concept of remix.
the file availiabe to listening is wma 48 kbps, wich is shit, if you wanna feel the powerfull bass download the 198 kbps mp3 file. and if you can please listen the song with headphones or surround. trust me, there's a huge difference.
The part I like the most is around 2'20'', so please keep listening 'till the end."

The song only contains a little sample from "b-boys makin with the freak freak" (except obviously the ones taken from that's it that's all). The main beats are made by myself. It has a few loops: a funky beat, a downtempo beat and some other sounds.

So I hope you like it and have fun remixing for the contest. It will be great (y)

thanks for your feedbacks. and I don't get angry because other people talk here about their mixes. in fact i think there should be a unique thread for all the entries, because if every one do an own thread maybe some remix would be lost... so feel free for talk or post here your works... and if the mods finally do a sticky thread for the contest PLEASE somebody PUT MY REMIX THERE, because I won't be at internet till july 17

I expect GREAT remixes from some people here and, of coure, some great surprises of the new remixers

what are you doing still reading this??? go to remix now!! :D :D
