Ad Rock did an interview with a radio station here in the Bay Area. He said they would be coming to San Francisco (probably Shoreline) in September. I did not go when they played here at the radio festival last month. I was pissed at them at the time for the stupid venues they were playing..ie. Clearchannel. I'll go if they come back.

Well kids, anyone asking about New Orleans. The word on the street is that they will be here for Voodoo Music Fest October 16-17th, but that is just the word on the street Voodoo has not released a set list. More info on Voodoo go to www.voodoomusicfest.com last year there were 60+ bands crammed into 3 days it was amazng, I have gone to every Voodoo there has been (5 of them) and every time has been amazing.

OK, tpk, from what I gather from reading these posts, you're the person I need to talk to. This is my first post, but that doesn't matter. I've got a couple of things to add:
1/ the Beastie Boys have to come to Belgium
2/ they shouldn't come to Antwerp, because that city is virtually unreachable due to road works which will last another year or two, so forget about that. Also, the Sportpaleis which is the only possible venue for a Beasties gig in Antwerp sucks ass when it comes to sound
3/ other options are Vorst Nationaal in Brussels, where they played in 1999, or Flanders Expo in Ghent
4/ tell them to play b.e.a.s.t.i.e boys and egg raid on mojo. because they're cool songs.

If you think I'm pulling your chain, check out Voodoomusicfest.com and click on the last tab on the right--who's that you see in the picture? They've never played before so it's not from last year, and oh yeah, it's a TT5B promo shot. (Schedule isn't out yet, but I'd say that's good 'nuff proof they're coming.)

Not that it really matters, but the 2nd day of the event features Velvet Revolver, Kid Rock (loser), Cypress Hill. A two-day pass is $70.

Now normally, I wouldn't be letting yankees and such in on this, as City Park is two blocks from my palatial Lakeview estate/World Corporate Headquarters, but since everyone hear loves the Beasties, it's all good! :)

I won't shoot the messenger but the Beasties have to realize that they are losing a lot of momentum from the early days of the album release by being so quiet lately.

No tour announcement, slow release of the second single, no news, updates or exclusives on the website.

I will be attending several shows regardless of when they are but I fear the mini-hiatus the Beasties have taken post-album release may have an affect on the final sales figures of the album and the enthusiasm for the tour.

as most of you have probably already realized, the tour schedule for north america is already planned. the reason for why not all dates are up yet is because of confirmation on venues and such. everything must be 100% confirmed before it can be posted officially on beastieboys.com.

so there really is no need to post suggestions for cities they should play cause it wouldn't affect the already planned schedule. so please just be on hold for the rest of the north american dates.

as for europe - yes they will do a europe tour, and they will most likely go by italy, UK, germany, some parts of scandinavia, holland, belgium, spain, germany, france and so on.

as for south america, no comments right now unfortunately.

I'm giving up on October now, to many dates in the USA. They still have to cover rest of world to so who knows when they will reach our small piece of rock. I was hoping before December when I get married so I could make the concert my Stag do, and hopefully not January cos I am on honeymoon in Egypt.
