Can barely make Toast!! and i need to be able to cook well wen i go away to Uni next year! whats the best ways to learn? and realy good and simple stuff to make? :confused:

There's a couple of books in the series 'Grub on a Grant', one called 'SImple Food' thats also good.

As a student, pasta and a stir in sauce should serve you ok (when you're not at the Kebab shop :D ). For the exceptionally kitchen-challenged you can get bags of microwave pasta (c.90secs cooking time) and microwave sauce (about the same). Not the most cost-effective, but if you're desperate...
If you're sharing, then get in with someone that can cook and get them to show you the ropes!
