why not switch the size requirements on the profile picture and avatar. Make the avatar 100x100 pixels and make the profile picture 50x50. I think the avatar is much more important than the profile picture, as everyone does not have a profile picture but they do have an avatar.

if that's not possible, what about making the file size of an avatar back to 20kb?

please? :(

100x100 is a bit too big I think, it would become annoying.

I favor 60x60, simply because most avatars online are that size. also the max. kb limit could be higher.

well obviously the reason for the small dimensions of the avatar is cause when you go to a topic with 30 replies you would have to load up 30 random images. if those were 100x100 or even bigger it would be very annoying for some people.

and also like korII said, it would look terrible.

TPK, it says that to us because we're admins. There's no real reason there, it's just the way this software is.

For regular users, the limit is at 10k :). That's why you're having this issue.
