Removing unused Accounts

i've seen the member list about half or more atleast, never made any posts whatsoever, i think they should be removed

i only removed 60 or so accounts with 0 posts. we can't really remove too much..if they haven't been on for like 60 days i guess it's fine but otherwise i'd rather let it be. we usually do remove these kind of people like every 100 days or so. thanks for looking out.

To my understanding, only those accounts are being deleted where the registered user for 60/80 days didn't even access the message board? So you have a record of users even if they don't log on? :confused:

Yeah, because they're accounted for as having never logged on. Or have not logged on for a while, as the case may be. Either way, it's all in the DB and we can filter by that.

still there's no reason, it's not like it takes up too much space. Sometimes I get caught up in shit and I'm not on the net for a while. I'd be pissed if I came back after a month and found out my shit was deleted. I could see after a year or so, not 80 days or whatever.

if someone hasn't been to the board for 3½ months and when they first registered didn't write a single post..and get back..and their account is deleted. well wooh disaster. i just think they shouldn't have too high expectansions when not having done a single post ever and haven't visited the site for more than 1/4 of the year.
