thick fluffy pancakes

does anyone have a recipe for those thick fluffy pancakes? you know those ones you always see in american movies all piled on to a plate? i have the basic pancake recipe but theyre all flat and floppy......tankooooo (^_^ )

i think the best way is to use pancake mix

You know one thing about pancake mix though, it always has this sort of stale taste to it, or maybe it's like baking powder or something.

But one thing good about it is you can easily control the thickness of the batter by adding more or less water. You can get these really thick, manly, doughy pancakes by going easy on the water.
