Here's a new joint: (http://www.paralizer.nl/download.php?ID=17)

I always had the idea of using reggae samples in a remix. It never seemed to work because reggae is so slow and the instruments didn't fit on hiphop beats in some way.

This time after lots of effort it worked.

I used a sample from Lee Perry's Bucky Skank. I had to cut it up into a shitload of pieces to make the loop work.
Then I added a bass and heaps of ill samples from various sources.
Also some samples from other beastie tracks were added.

TPK came with the brilliant idea of an effect over one of those samples. Thanks.

I think this is one of my best remixes so far. Enjoy!

This is also my entry for the $5 contest.

Nice and laid back.

There were little bits where in the chorus (whatcha, whatcha want hits) didn't seem to drop on the beat too tightly. Guess I'm being picky.

Still good remix and good luck in the contest bubba!

ahh funkin A Taco..this one is hands down some of the illest remix material.

You've always been good at grabing loops...but your production skills are getting on point. Perfect levels on the output...my subwoofer enjoyed.

i like the how you like the bass in your fac ein tthe crowd mixed in and the last verses are pretty tight,
but im sorry i dont like the first verse with your instrumental, the energy is just not the same...

The first verse is not too different from the other two verses. Do you mean the intro maybe?
Thanks for the comment though.

Mixing one genre into another is very challenging, but after listening to this you've pulled it off quite successfully. But wait a minute, this is Tacozip, of course its going to be great. (y)

If you're on a PC, right click over the link and select "save target as"

If you're on a Mac, hold down ctrl on the keyboard and click over the link with the mouse and select "save linked file as."

If those don't work, I don't know what will.
