Boozin' at the Beastie Boys Concert?

Is it true that the Beastie Boys will not permit venues to serve beer? I love beer and the Beastie Boys and can't fathom enjoying one without the other!

They only time i've seen the Beasties and there were no alcohol sales was at the Tibetan Freedom Concert in 1999 about an hour north of Chicago. It DID have something to do with it being a TFC show and not specific to that venue.

I recently saw them in Mountain View, CA last month and they sold $8 beers.

I was served beer at a Strokes concert in Seattle--albeit in a confined beer garden. In Vancouver, the Pac. Coliseum allowed one to meander around anywhere with watered down, piss tasting, $6 pilsners.

I stayed at the Homestead in Mtnview for the BFD. Maybe next time I can come and stay at your house Daisy. LOL ;)
