Hey Boys,

I just checked out your tour schedule and was happy to notice that you have yet to post any plans about where you guys are going to be during the RNC in late August.

You are going to be here in NYC, arn't you?

We need you.

Please do not make any plans outside of the city during the RNC.

Even if you don't get to plan a big protest show or anything we still need you to be present during our protests. I myself am taking part in the Bike Blok ( http://www.times-up.org/rnc_2004.php ). I encourage you and everyone who feels the need to voice their distaste for our current administration to PLEASE come to NYC during the RNC and lets show the evil elephants that we will not be lied to and dragged into an unjust war like silent obedient sheep.

So we're square right? Ya'll will represent in NYC in September not be wimping out in some plush hotel on some Japanese tour or nothing.

i am not getting uptight, I am just saying its a weird way of requestiong their help. And with the newly announce tour date in seattle it makes you think that they will be on the west coast starting their tour the same time. Maybe them touring the country spreading the word on Anti-Bush will do more good than the 3 of them protesting.

Well, if I was a Beastie Boy I'd probably read the forums. But I'm not a Beastie Boy, I'm just some dude in New Jersey with a bicycle.

In hindsight, I think I may have egged the BBoys on a tad too far in my inital post. I was just trying to cause a stir and maybe catch some eyes and MAYBE even recruit some folks to join in the Bike Blok.

I want to send these people a message when they come to town.

It's weird, now-a-days when I'm in midtown and I happen to come upon Madison Square Garden I start to get really angry. They have built this temporary walkway bridge over 6th Avenue for the republicans to scurry themselves from their bulletproof limo/tanks into the Garden, without ever having to set foot on a NYC street or sidewalk. The bridge is completely enclosed and windowless so they don't even have to see NYC if they choose not to.

They are putting up all of these tall fences everywhere around the area. On the Garden itself giant Will Smith I, Robot signs are up. His movies always suck so his presence isn't helping the situation.

If you ask me, the only worthwhile thing to do this summer is clog the streets with people and bikes and signs and just screw up the traffic and make some noise. I'm not talking about starting trouble or creating chaos or anything. I'm not talking SABOTAGE. I just think it'd be great that when all of these grand republican "capitalize on 911" plans go into effect that there are 60,000 people and 60,000 bicycles clogging up everything and none of them can do anything or get anywhere.

I'm calling out to you because it's going to be fun. Fun as hell.
