Wooooo go the south eastern suburbs of melbourne. They'll be here. I'm tipping big day out, and their own tour simultaneously playing smalller gigs. Like how they played the forum theatre last time they were here, maybe they'll play festival hall, the offspring kicked some ass there. My guess tix will cost like 70 bucks. Or go to bdo and get a whole days entertainment for like 100.
Im sure you'll get them coming on a tour, at some time or another....
Where would they play their own gig, if not a BDO one?
Rod Laver Arena?
An MCG Extravaganza? (yeah right)
Colonial (oops Telstra) Dome?
(Like Rancid said) festival hall?
The Revolver (now Im pushing it!)

Festival hall, forum, the palace or something, u know that one in st kilda, myer music bowl (metallica played there), Rod Laver unless the already play there for livid. No way will they play MCG, or Colonial. Too big and impersonal. Plus their album and single didn't do as well as they probably should have. So I doubt they could fill the MCG or colonial.

they'll be here for the BDO and if not then beforehand i'm sure. so just wait a bit and be happy you're in melbourne which, like sydney, will be a MUST on their list for sure (i mean, how could they ever leave out minton-ville??)
as for syd, my guess is they'll play the entertainment centre and whatever the cost i'll be first in line (y)

Perth's turned into a graveyard for the living lately, no (great) shows recently. Not above heading out to Sydney if one has to...

I was lucky enough to catch the boys back in '99 when they played the Hobart City Hall (Tas). It's hard to believe now when I think about it - we don't get ANYONE down here. Tickets back then were around eighty bucks, so I'm guessing around ninety this time 'round. I can see that I'll be making a trip to Melbourne for the TT5B tour though (it took a petition organised by JJJ to get them down here last time). It'll be cool if they do the BDO.

For mine, I'd love it if they played the Great Northern in Byron. Franti plays there when he's around so I'm hoping there's an outside chance at that. A trip north to Brisvegas is a better bet.
I remember those Forum shows in Melbourne...it was sensational to get that close to them.

my source are the ppl that have been in talks with them to put the event on, since i posted that.
More than likely they will attach themselves to the BDO tour, rather than an Australian Tour. :(

well, if they do come for the bdo, i hope that they do some individual shows because i dont really want to battle the crowds and heat of the gold coast

I have since moved to newcastle and Ihave heard about this gig - but am yet to actually meet anyone who was there.

I've heard that Talib Kwali is also rumoured to be touring and I noticed that he is currently supporting the boys in the states. SO maybe they will tour together here also!! AWESOME!! JJJ have been suggesting they'll play BDO. They defiently won't be doing Livid this year as they've cancelled it!!! Did anyone see the Beastie's play Livid '94? Best show ever.

I was lucky enough to see the bboys way back in 92 on the check your head tour. Tickets were $20- and the venue was in the old lion in adelaide (300 cap), the meanies were their support. Bring back the old days!!! Hopefully will see them in the summer and i hope its not with the BDO tour.

The Beasties need to get thier arses on tour period.
I would love to finally see the Beasties live!
I would go to see them at BDO and at a solo show, for double Beastie pleasure

Hopefully the boys will do a simultaneous separate tour whilst going around with the bdo crew. Preferably at smaller venues, so that only die hard fans go, and so they dont play only their popular stuff, but their awesome stuff. Much like goldfinger did when they toured with livid last year (their kind of the exception to the touring rule though because they hold the record for most gigs in a year :p )
