Hey all. This is my first attempt, so try to go easy on me :D This is my own remix of 'Triple Trouble', made completely with Sound Forge, along with a few samples thrown in. For those of you who grew up in the 80's, you'll probably recognize the beat/background right away. Yeah, it sounds a little weird, but that's why I threw the word "cheesy" into the name. I'll keep it online for a few days. Enjoy and let me know what ya think!

I really have no idea why I zipped it. Just habit I guess. :) To answer all of the other questions, the background music is Thompson Twins 'Hold me now' (1984 I think?) I used the extended version of the song, which made it easier to loop some sequences, and throw it all together.

werd i think 80s and that song dont mix to well together, not meaning the "mix" is off, but just like DJ Z-Trip said, "just because u can get two things to fit together, doesn't neccesarily mean that they sound good together"......

For a first time you did a hell of a job...I recognized the sample right off...It's a lot of fun...keep workin at it ....The mix is awesome .....BTW ....I thought the rhyme worked well with the sample. Take it from a true son of the '80's.

Pretty good. Everything seems to match up well. The vocals however could have been mixed better. They were much louder than the instrumental. Not sure if I can deal with the Beasties being mashed up with the Thomspon Twins, but I like the idea you had going here though. Orignal.

well done. need more 80's remixes. what kind of sampler did you use?

mixed 100% completely with Sound Forge 7.0. the voice samples I recorded on tape some years back by hooking up the vcr to my stereo amp and recording it directly, and never used them until now. and a couple of them I found on the 'net. as for the main sample.. that's simply the Thompson Twins "Hold Me Now"

thanks again for all the feedback guys. definitely appreciated!
