Please explain to me why the Beastie Boys, arguably one of the more influential artists of the last 20 years, is playing the single worse venue in the Los Angeles metro. Long Beach Arena is a dump, Goldenvoice (the concert promoter) does not know how to produce an event other than Coachella with any order to it. The venue sounds terrible (REVERB!!!), the security, concessions, staff, etc. are all bottom of the barrel.
Congratulations guys, after seeing every Beastie show I could in the past 14 years, I have no interest in attending this show. I do not know how much Goldenvoice gave you guys as a guarantee, but I would throw it back in their face and go to any of the other large venues in the area.

dude, chill out. it's the freaking BEASTIE BOYS! i'd see them play anywhere. hell, the long beach arena is no better than the damn forum. staples sucks. unless they're playing the troubadour or the roxy or another small club, the sound is gonna suck either way. just be happy you're able to see them keep rocking on.
p.s. what's the point of signing up and ragging on the boys for your first post??
yeah, if you're not seeing the beasties cause they are playing at the wrong arena i don't know what to tell you.

No doubt, I agree with tpk. What you are saying is like saying you are no longer a fan because of the political content in TT5B. I have seen em twice in my 32 year lifespan( about to be 3 times after voodoo fest ) and I would travel just to listen to there bowel movements.

They could be playing in the playground at the local elementary school and I would pay to go. Screw the fact that the Long Beach Arena sucks. I'm going.
