$9 is not that bad.
bullshit....on the us postal site (www.usps.gov) to mail out a shirt from cali to pa it should cost $3.85 for Priority (and that only takes 2-3 business days)......so for $9 i should get the shirt about an hour after i order it........

Is it too tough to just calculate the "actual" postage cost (based on the weight and size of the package and where it's going) and add the actual postage cost to the order?
I mean it doesn't sound that difficult.

I'm not saying it's cheap, but here are some answers you probably won't like either:
1) We don't use USPS. We use UPS.
2) If you go to a show, you'll pay about the same.
3) It's about average for t-shirts online from bands.
4) Shipping is done so that you do better to order several things at once and plan your purchase to stay within the lowest range possible to avoid the next highest shipping tier. For instance buying 2 shirts is more economical (in terms of shipping costs) than buying 1.
I hear you though. $30 for a shirt makes you think.

You're one lame ass motherfucker :). Someone packages that shirt. Prints up a label with your address. Fills out paperwork. And mails it. You're paying their wages too. It's a good price given all overhead expenses which you seem to be completely ignorant of.
Anyway, I'm closing this now; I don't have time to give you a lecture on this stuff.
