HOOBASTANK will be here in MALAYSIA in 15aug....all my friends only like the local singers so i 'll ask my 19 years old sister to go with me....i went to INCUBUS concert with her too.

none of my friends would even consider going to a beastie boys concert.. so im in the process of begging my 22 yr old sister to take me. im just hoping they get to CT before she moves to boston.. then im just plain screwed. atleast you got the option to drive yourself there..

so yah got any siblings? if not..um.. bribe your friends or somthing!! being perfectly able to go see the beastie boys but missing out because no one wants to come with you.. that would really, really suck.

I'm going alone too, none of my friends are fans. It isn't a big deal, it's not like it's more fun with someone you know if they don't like the band.

unfortunately, i don't have any siblings. i really would like to go but going by myself would entail me riding the skytrain (it's like an above ground subway) late at night, which to me doesn't sound too pleasant since i've had many creepy experiences on it. plus, all floor tickets are already sold out.

well, i'm from England (leicester) and no one likes the Beastie Boys where i'm from so i'm going alone when they cum over here whatever venue, it'd be strange cus i normally go to concerts with a group of friends but going alone to see my favourite band is acceptable/. :confused:

Go alone, I am, it'll be safe, it's Vancouver, just don't be dumb; accept open beverages from a stranger, get in a strangers car, you know the usual. Good luck. :)

I'm going alone too, but just because my wimpy friends can't handle GA and we got shitty seats in Seattle - so I'm driving up the next day by myself to roam the floor in Vancouver. One nice thing about going by yourself is, you don't have to worry about agreeing on where to stand, etc. That's too bad though about having to ride the skytrain - could you afford to cab home?

And the presale GA tickets are sold out, but I can just about guarantee they only released a small percentage of the tickets. If you feel brave enough to go, you can probably still get one Saturday morning.

skytrain isn't so bad, back in february I was riding it at 10:30 every night. I was with a group, but most people on the train are just sleeping anyways. nobody willing to drive you? that kinda sucks. the GA tickets aren't sold out, the presale has just met it's maximum of GA tickets. there will be some available saturday.
