now go to www.djgreenlantern.com and listen to his "green mix" of "hold it now"

what are the chances he is going to mash up the same 18 year old song with the same beat???

you tell me...

p.s. my vocals are synched better.

anyways... more of my beastie remixes here:

no disrespect. but that was one of the worst "remixes" ive ever heard. why someone would try and rip you off (if they did i didnt listen to the other one) is beyond me.

What the hell are you talking about? It is a mash-up of 99 Problems and Hold It Now, and a good one at that. Unless you are saying Rick Rubin is a bad producer, I'm not sure what you are talking about, since the two RR beats are skillfully combined by CC. Unless you have a problem with the way they were combined (I don't see what it could be) you could only have a problem with one of the 2 original RR beats.

CC-
I'm not sure he deliberately ripped you, as he only has the 99 Problems part in a the first set of verses. However, you can claim credit for being the first to combine the two songs. They are really two different things. I see yours as a straight Mash-Up and his as a Remix which features that sample among others. I don't think either is better, just different. The 99 Problems/Hold It now idea was definitely yours first though.

both beats are great. the reason i dissed it was because i personaly think those types of remixes sound lazy. he synced them up well but its still just one beat on top of the original. like i sad no disrespect, i just think that when you are trying to create a song and 100% of the material used isnt your own, you should just utilize a little more skill.

Sorry to be a spelling nazi, but I had to point that out. :o
