It sounds like an issue between you and your mom. Not much we can do. You can change your username and log out everytime to make sure she can't find you if you want to be sneaky right back.

Obviously there is some reason why she feels the need to check up on you so it really should be something that you guys sit down and discuss. There is all kinds of spyware parents can buy to track AOL/MSN conversations and what boards you go to so "banning" your mom won't stop her if she really wants to see what you are doing.

i say do her a favor and ban the mother. it's just a one-time thing, i don't think you have to be afraid that once you do this everyone is going to ask to get their family members banned. she's obviously not here to talk about the beastie boys or contribute anything to the fan community, only to spy on her daughter.
