I'd go anywhere I could afford that was the closest. But, they're announcing dates one by one, so I don't even know where that is yet? What they're going to do is miss out on the money I would have spent because they aren't giving me adequate time to plan a trip.
I've got a family and a career motherfuckers!

I would travel anywheres my pocket book would allow me to go. Unforturnately, I am not a rich man so I can't travel world wide to see em.
I am from Louisiana and traveled to San Francisco when they played BFD in Mountainview.

I'll be travelling at least 3500 miles from Newfoundland Canada to Austin Texas. I'm flying on points so I could go anywhere in North America. I'm going to Austin because a good friend of mine is in Houston and he's a fan also. We should have a blast that weekend.

I've seen them in PHILLY(lollapalooza 94), Camden(Y100 feztival), D.C. (tibetan freedom concert) and RANDALL'S ISLAND in the BRONX (tibetan freedom concert) and I would have went to Japan if I had the loot!

Helps to get paid for it Minton. You would probably get looked down on if you didn't, like skipping the office x-mas party or somethin, the boys would be pissed. later :D

I second what Pootytang said. I'll go where ever my pocket book and work schedule will allow.
When l lived in New Orleans, i traveled to Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta to see them.
Now living in Chicago i've seen them in Milwaukee and Chicago.
I saw BS2000 in Minneapolis and Chicago.
And just traveled to Mountain View California for the BFD show a couple of months back.
I'm hoping to see them at least 2 or 3 times on this tour...when/if they announce midwest dates!

It quite depends how rich/poor I am at the time. Right now I wish they'd come and play at Globen in Stockholm again so it's just 15 mins bikeride away.
But I have travelled a bit for them. In '95 flew over to UK and then travelled all over the country (cheap returns on coaches) and Ireland to see them and in '98 got myself an Interrail ticket and followed their European festival dates.
I'd love to go to Voodoo festival cause there's another one of my biggest faves playing as well, but I haven't played the lotto for ages

It's times like these when I think it sucks to live on an island.

All depends on money and being able to get away. If I could afford it, I would have flown over to Europe and caught a couple shows there.
In November we flew Vancouver to Chicago. Grabbed a rental car after we landed and drove up to Madison, WI to see them there, then back to Chicago the next day to catch that gig.
Saw both the Seattle (about 130 - 140 mile drive) and Vancouver shows back in September and just had to have more.
If they do more North American dates in the coming year, I'm going to make it to at least one or two.

fortunately for me this year, i had friends and family in New Orleans at the time of Voo Doo festival.
I jumped on that opp in a second...
and i'd do it all over again.

I completely agree!!!
I saw them in Toronto, and if I had the money, I would have gone to their Ottawa show 2 days later. Then I would have LOVED to see them in Amsterdam. Of course, I'm not rich and therefore had to settle for my hometown.
Next time they come back to Toronto I'm definitely there, anywhere else depends on the cash flow.

I went from NYC to Amsterdam. Good time. If I had planned better, I would have gone to more shows. I decided Sunday, to fly on Monday, and see the show on Tuesday. (Does that make sense to you guys?) Not to mention the show was sold out, and I didn't have tickets. We got to Amsterdam at 5 p.m. and the show started at 7:30. After checking into our hotel, a visit to the coffee shop, a few mishaps on the train, and finding someone with tickets to sell, we got there just as Talib Kweli was going off, just in time for the Beastie Boys. It was my 5th show of the tour, and the best setlist that I had seen. I would definately do it over again.

I just booked this (http://portcanal.co.uk/cgi-bin/diser.pl?a=Chicago&b=Tokyo). It's the furthest I will ever have traveled to see them.
Depends on where you live, but Tokyo can be very far.
Have fun! (y)

Oh, you know I will tell all! Thanks for the well wishes, J.
After Japan, I'll tie with Seth with nine shows -- although it'd be eleven if I had gone to all the shows I had tix for in the UK. I might have to do at least one Oz show to put myself ahead of Seth's count. :p
have an awesome time! we're all jealous :D .
