Dj Green Lantern is a really good DJ, no doubt, but why did he make the Beastie remixes so ganstafied? They sound weird together.

That's pretty much the reason I didn't choose to get it. I hate the "street."

You do what you know. Green lantern obviously knows how to pretend to be gangster.

I agree with Johnny on this one. It does sound weird together. I enjoy hearing the Beasties mixed with the Beatles more. Theres a lot of great things that happen on this forum (y)

I disagree, 2 tracks on the cd don't belong (YOU KNOW THE ONES) - the B.Boys & B.I.G track is bummppin' (but that gangsta sound works). Overall I would give this album a 7 out of 10.
I don't think Green Lanturn is the greatest ever - I have heard way better here in these forums -- WHY DON'T WE MAKE A CD?

Gang/street stuff = Bad.
80s Cheese= Good.
Replace the bad with the good.
Now, will some "DJ" please make a Beastie mixtape like that? I'd try, but well, you know me... I've come to the conclusion that I'm probably tone deaf.
