I hate franz ferdinand but the mix sort of works. Lyrics could do with being enhaced slightly as a bit quiet and melow. But good shit.

And for the record it doesn't change my stance on FF

This is the McSleazy remix/boot... he calls it "Franzie Boys" I think.

McSleazy is a very talented and established remix artist, and he runs GYBO, an excellent mash-up and bootleg site which I frequent (and where this was recieved with much praise). But I hear you, his work, and choice of samples, is not always my style.
Worth mentioning that he opened for Kelis night before last, in London if I am not mistaken. He's also supported the Charlatans.

In any case, thats my 2 cents... carry on... :)

I would have preferred Franz vocals mixed in a bit more, rather than a snippet at the start...

this got released as an offical FF B-side a week or two ago. It's available at HMV and other spots, primarily in the UK.

Wow. Franz Ferdinand AND the Beastie Boys??? Could two bands be any more awesome??? I'm implying they can't. I haven't heard this remix yet, but I will right right now now.

Franz Ferdinand have their place in music, the Beasties undoubtedly have their place in music, having just seen them in concert in Manchester England, it would appear the Beasties reign,Franz Ferdinand are cool, but learn some respect Franz!
