i looked at the seating chart and it's like on the left side at the end...i've never been to a concert before (bboys my first concert) so i dunno what that means.

i bought my tickets off of ticketmaster.. and it says where you are section row.. then it has the description.. what does it mean? it says something like Full view "for hermes use: do not turn on for display or net* and other weird stuff?

At 10:15 (Damn Chicago Traffic!) I could only get seats in the 300s...I ended up with 4 seats in 335 section B...very dissapointing pre-sale. Seems like no one even got the GA seats! They should offer those first! I am going to give the public sale a try tommorrow for sure...seems like people try to sell their tickets all the time on these boards....I guess it is OK??

All you had to do was decline the seats and search again. The first set of tix I had was all the way up top in like row N. I searched again and seats in the 200's came up, I tried one more time and got the 100 sections, and really pressing my luck I went for it once more and I got section 91. I didn't want floor cause it looks like there's gonna be seat down there and if you don't get the front, you're fucked.

So the moral of the story is try more than once next time!!!!!!! But like everyone keeps saying, at least we'll all be at the show!

yeah i searched a couple times till i got the seats. cause u know how ticketmaster "holds" tickets while your looking at them so you have to recheck. but it's msg so I think anywhere the seats'll be good. I've only been there one other time to see a rangers game and i was way up but i could still see the players fine.

Supposedly they do hold some good tickets for the regular sale days. In other words tickets at the end of presale are not as good as tickets at the beginning of regular sale, so there is a possibility of getting good seats Friday AM still.

If you buy more than one set of tickets, you can e-mail their customer care and tell them to cancel a set. I should know- my best friend spent the morning buying me tickets and sending me freaked out e-mails... that I only got that evening :)

I spent almost half an hour looking for good seats right after normal sale went up. Eventually I settled with section 310...not great not bad(I had 339 for the Incubus concert @ MSG, not bad seats. 310 seems almost 2x as close), but the best I could find all morning.
What gives? where are all the 100s and 200s? :confused:

I'm up in the 300s too... same ol' presale story as e'rybody else. Guess those K-Rock block of tix were held as some sort of marketing tie in or something? never really understood the piont of presale tickets...

My philosophy is you're either selling tickets to the show or you're not. Selling early, reserving sections, opening up sections at a later date: all pointless and frustrating to the fans.... another reason to say "Fuck ClearChannel"!

Anyway, like most others here, I can't really complain. I'm still seeing the show. And, besides, after a while my old, busted ass would probably get tired of standing without my walker.

There is no way I'm not gonna be disposable-camera-strapped at MSG, with GA pit seats. I want the pictures, and I'll get em if I have to put the cam in my pants so they wont feel it. Hopefully cams will be allowed...I got one into Tweeter for the Feztival.
