It looks like it's reserved seating everywhere. Dare I say no mosh pit??

According to the ticketmaster.com seating chart, it seems that there will be no mosh pitting.

I bet the Ticketmaster seating chart isn't accurate. There has to be a mosh section; I can't imagine a Beastie show without it.

Plus, underneath, it says the seating chart they show is the general layout, not specific to this show.

I was trying on 2 computers at once, to see which could get a better spot. The tickets I first got were floor, and it said general admission. The other ones were sec 88, which I got for a better view. but from the sound of it, the front area doesn't have seats.

During one of my ticket searches instead of a specific section number GA appeared .

But I ended up with section 7 row J seat 1, which says reserved seating on it...however I've also heard that some venues use the row/seat system just to ensure that they don't oversell for GA.

So I am really confused now

Yeah... when Ticketmaster.com was asking me to confirm my purchase before they charge me, I don't remember them listing a specific seat. I'm pretty sure it said General Admission. I didn't know I had a seat number until I looked at the e-mail. (Section 7, row P, seat 1).

On the floor there is both GA seating and reserved seating toward the back.

Are the GA seats labeled as such? Or are they labeled as the lower section numbers on the floor (i.e. sections 1-4)? Do these sections 1-4 have row/seat allocations on them?

Anyone with sections 1-4 floor yet?

GA means you're on the floor and you can stand where ever you want. If you have reserved seating, you're in a seat.

They don't call me detective for nothin.

Your seats (?) are right in front of ours. See you in a couple months. :)

We're not moshers, so if we're on the floor we'll probably be shuffling our old bones off to the side so you crazies can do your thing...

(I have to say I did stage dive once, back in the day. Ahh, good memories.)

Section 7 is towards the back half of the floor so you don't have GA tickets. And GA tickets would say GA with numbers on them.

I dont think any were sold?? I was on a 10am on the dot & the best I saw was sec 5.... Im waitin till Fridays sale when 1-4 will probly be sold....

Pre-Sale shit only releases a certain percent on section seats.

I havent heard of anybody yet & havent seen any eBay seller specifing tix for sec 1-4.. They just say GA.... They probly think sec 5-12 is GM....

Seated venues suck! But most large "arena" venues are seated, at least in England they are. I've only been to a few of them but I much prefer a smaller venue with standing room only. Brixton Academy is prob the best in this country I've been to, quite large but with no seating (except on the balcony) but a good view everywhere due to sloped floor.

Maybe they'll have a giant stage that takes up half the floor...

I'll probably check on Friday too, just to see. But I'm pretty happy with my section 7 seats. (y)

I just noticed all three of us who got tickets in section 7 have seat #1. I think that's too weird a coincidence.... maybe that means they are using that row/seat system to avoid overselling GA? (I'm really hoping!)
