Does anyone know how many "general admission/pit" tickets are being sold?

im not sure, but it doesnt seem there are many. i had to get mine via a broker. i dont know why there is reserved seating on the floor. maybe beastieboys.com can answer. i mean, do the beastie bgoys think their fans are 50 years old and will sit down all night? fucking wack, i dont ever remember reserved seating on the floor at a bboy show.

yea i wouldnt want the floor tickets either behind GA, im guessing its down on the same level so how the hell could you see..

Im currently debating on GA tickets or section 65-70- 74-80 tickets on ebay....

if money isnt much of an issue id go for the ga. i paid 100 beans which isnt bad. its worth the extra scratch to be right up in the pit, especially when you dont know how many more times youll get to see them live. seating on the floor sucks. i remeber being in similiar seats for a nin show that i think was in nj. i stood on my chair the whole show. the entire floor was always ga, i dont know why they changed this time around. not to mention "in the round" was so dope and thats gone as well.

So whats the haps? Is the WHOLE floor GA or just the front 4 sections...no one seems to have a definite answer on this?? (Admin?) I worked the presale tickmaster deal from 10:00 to 11:00 and had many choices and eventually got into sect 12 on the floor...I also have sect 229 (my first purchase at 10:01) just to make sure im in tha house. I was able to get tix all day long albeit not great seats. So now I have two extra tix, but not sure where i want to sit. I definitely want to be in the pit dancin'...cant see how im gonna rip it up in between those plastic seats..which are usually bound together with plastic ties so i either need to trade up w/ a scum scalper or get stubbed down for some kind repayment. If anyone knows the deal or can help me out with the body movin in MSG..let me know.

i hear 1-4 are the only GA sections of the floor. if you check on ebay or broker websites, they all list 1-4 as GA and the rest of the floor with sections AND rows.

if its true that there are seats on the floor beyond sections 1-4 (which seems to be true), can minton, tpk or beastieboys.com please answer why the floor was set up in this manner?

If there are seats on the floor no one will be sitting in them. There is a good chance if you got a tix for the floor then you can "rush the front and get in the PIT area. Please remember while doin this to not be reckless and accidently hurt use lil' people. I would be great if I could bring my seat with me to the pit area then i could stand on it. :D

that sounds right. I saw tool at the garden last year, and the setup seemed about like that. there's a GA area, then they have it separated off, with the soundboard and everything in the middle, and then behind the barrier there was seating. there are a bunch of guards in between the seating and the GA sections. you may be able to get up, but it won't be all that easy.

We really don't have anything to do with that side of things, so I know no more about it than you do. :)
