Anyone make a digital recording of this? I missed the damn thing, was it exactly the same as the Melkweg special at http://82.75.237.131:6969/ ? I.E. all the same footage and songs, or did they show more of the concert? Somebody let me know.

I disagree. This performance didn't have any of the album version music in it. I prefer when MMM starts it with the album version.
The performance of Skills was unbelievable. MMM drops in Public Enemy and Horovitz says something like, "ok, now what?"...MMM had to remind him of his next verse. :)

I think MMM put an extra verse on it so they got confused and just started jumping around :D

There are two versions around, one with an idiot interviewer being made a fool of by the beasties (which in my version has the sound out of sync) and another one that is a good divx rip of the entire gig from start to end.
Oh and it's melkweg btw :)

fair enough :)
i liked it, i've got my recordings from 93 for the full o.g. version live. i mean more in terms of delievery. to me, the second the o.g. beat goes out it's like whatever, just let the boys do their own thing. it woulda bin harder to mix the o.g version with the other beats that nite anyway, or shall i say harder than usual...
as for skills...sounds wicked, i love moments like that (y)

I just saw this on VH1
I was flipping around and saw teh BB's on the set. I didn't like MMM funkin around with The Skills bc I've always been a big fan of Yauch's wicked bass line and that was skewed into some trendy 5 year old hiphop track sample. But yes Posse was nice....Too bad they only played that beat up song "Shake Your Rump" off PB cause I could go for a whole lot more off that LP.
Strangely enough I remembered someone from the board saying when they asked if ppl were from Russia in the show and the cameras only showing the womenz and Roman Peter being there but not getting his proper dues. When they showed the fellow russians there was RP in the mix? Not really a big crowd but they designed it like that eh? And even though I was prepared for them not playing Super Disco Breakin' when they gave the Pannenkoeken foreplay I was still disappointed enough to piss on my downstair neighbors plants
All in all a helluva treat. Even though MMM screwed up what were once fantabulous beats

That's the Melkweg for ya :)
They played the heineken music hall later that year though. This was the press tour thing.
