I am glad that the B-boys have dedicated a section to the discussion of Tibet. I am disapointed, however, in the lack of attention and discussion going on in this section (myself included, as this is my first post) It also seems that what discussion does go on is in mockery (Hunger Strike) of the situation. I guess compassion is not "cool". Regardless, may you all find the joy that knows no sadness. Also, if Yauch does come in and read this (who knows?) I would just like to tell him that he was one of the main reasons I got involved in the Free Tibet movement and Buddhism. I would also like to apologize for Philadelphia during Lollapalooza '94. Yauch had managed to have the Gyatso monks open the show with their trademark chanting, a real treat. Well, the ignorant crowd began throwing water bottles at them, I'll never forget the horror on Yauch's face. I felt so embarassed.

Agreed! seems like a pretty important cause and I would definatly love to learn some more. I think that more people definatly should be posting and looking at this section.....
I am not much of an activist on this issue.. in fact I know very little. But I certainly will, with some spare time do some research and hopefully get educated and involved.

You know...I love the shadrach. You had me at I am glad... Thank you for being one of those beastie boys fans that grew past we gotta fight for our right. Word, respectively, to your mother.
PS Not that there is anything wrong for fighting for rights, but sometimes it has to be more than for just partying. Peace to those who get it, and more so to those who don't.
