Look, if it meant that much to you, you would've made sure you got tix or someone got them for you. If it were up to me, I would've skipped work.
Secondly, if I did screw up, I'd have no problem taking the high hard one from the brokers or ebay dorks.
Dedication.

It's very odd how they're rolling-out the tour schedule venue-by-venue, but I doubt this will be it for the shows they'll play in NYC.

me 2. i think they'll have more nyc dates.. but.. i doubt i'll be able to go to more than 1. =/
Perhaps more tix will become available closer to the date of the show? Lots of bands hold a certain percent of tix and release them the day of the show. I have scored tix this way plenty of times. -Miramanee[/QUOTE]
This is very true! Keep a Positive Mental Attitude and you'll get in the show most of the time, without paying an out of control amount of $$$. If you think about it: there will be several people who bought tix to the show but will not be able to go b/c of an unpredictable occurrence i.e. they get arrested, physical injury, forgot that the day of the show is thier wifes B-day. Anything can happen. Since you live nearby what do you have to loose but a few hours of your day...go to the box office and see if the band released thier tix yet. if there are no tix then wait by will call and put your index finger in the air. And also think positive! I wish you the best of luck.

Also, questions usually end in a question mark not an exclamation point.
This concludes class for today...

or you could try winning them from a radio station and if that doesn't work, getting to philadelphia is real easy by car or train.

Yeah I'm thinking they'll do another show in the NY area. Most likely either Nassau Coliseum or the Continential Airlines Arena in Jersey. If you notice, the day after the the MSG show (Oct. 10th) is still open on the tour calendar, so maybe they'll do another local show that hasn't been announced that night before moving on to Philly.
It's not like the drive to Philly is so long that it needs and extra day.
